The Universal Silver Platter counter was open for one day only at FIGMENT, a participatory public art festival in Oakland’s Mosswood Park in June 2017. Our 3-person design team quickly prototyped and pulled together a participatory experience based on gifting one another a representation of your wish, need, or desire, all handed to you on a silver platter. This playful pop-up was a quick, low-cost installation that generated conversation amongst friends and strangers about politics, family, food, community, and beyond.
